Welcome

“You matter because of who you are. You matter to the last moment of your life, and we will do all we can not only to help you die peacefully, but also to live until you die.”
–Dr. Cicely Saunders, Founder of the Modern Hospice Movement

Founded in 1981, Central Wyoming Hospice Program is Natrona County and Glenrock’s only community supported non-profit hospice devoted solely to end-of-life care. We offer outpatient care, inpatient care, as well as bereavement counseling to patients and their families. Our philosophy is to provide life to a patient's days when we cannot add days to their life. It is our goal to impact the community in a most positive way through a team approach with the best care and compassion possible.

When my dad was dying, I think as important as the physical care was the emotional care that my mom got from the aides and the nurse.
