Caregiver Support Group
Aligned with our philosophy of serving the whole family, Transitions offers a Primary Caregiver Support Group every Thursday from 2pm to 3pm. The support group offers both a safe place to process household stressors as well as brief education from Certified Nursing Assistants. Our current participants have expressed appreciation for the opportunity to voice concerns and receive professional guidance in best practices when taking care of their loved one.
Recognizing that being a primary caregiver may be difficult, we work with a team of volunteers as well as clients in finding community support to be with loved ones while in attendance. All Primary Caregivers in our community are welcome to attend. If you or someone you know is performing this heroic task please feel free to contact us.
